Each year, the Friends of the Library funds events, programming and necessities for the Bridgeville Public Library – things that the library doesn’t have the budget for. Through the fundraisers that we organize, and your support, we are able to fill the holes in the budget and allow the library to go above and beyond in order to better serve the community.

Here are just some of the things we’ve funded in recent years:
2016 – Total to Date = $3,800
  • Silly Science Class for Preschoolers
  • 2 Singer Sewing Machines
  • All-In-One Play Kitchen
  • Window Film for Large Windows
  • Book Cart
2015 – Total Donation = $5,000
  • Summer Science Program for Preschoolers
  • Art Supplies for the Teens
  • Area Rug (Train Style) for Story Time
  • Library Web Site
  • Allegheny County Area on Aging Speaker
  • $1,000 Towards Programming in 2016

Won’t you please help to keep these worthy additions to our library coming with your donation or contribution of time?
